Lions Respond to
September Terrorist Attack

In the wake of the September 2001 terrorist attack on the United States, Lions have responded both locally and internationally to the crisis by providing financial and other support to the relief and recovery efforts. The Kenora Lions Club responded within days of the attack by making a $500 contribution to the Lions Clubs International Foundation's Disaster Relief Fund, and are in regular communication with Lions Club and other agencies both locally and internationally who are co-ordinating the response efforts. The Kenora Lions Club received an E-mail from the chairman of the Lions Clubs International Foundation informing us of Internet links and resources for the Lions' response to this tragedy, and we have made a copy available here on the web site for your reference.
